    Rich Freeman

    President

    Rich is the 3rd generation president and owner of Freeman Scale since 1995, and has over 30 years of experience working with scales and measurement solutions. With a masters degree from Cornell and an undergraduate degree from MIT, both in chemistry, Rich directly handles all software and custom system design solutions, and is hands-on in overseeing all aspects of the company.

    Dick Freeman

    Vice President

    Freeman Scale was started by Dick’s father, and he served as president for over 30 years before his son, Rich, took over the family business. He started here in 1956 when the company’s focus was primarily in materials handling, and guided the transition to the electronic scale industry in the early 70’s. Today, Dick serves as Vice President and is highly regarded in the scale and measurement industry.

    With over 40 years of measurement expertise under his belt, Jeff focuses his weighing solutions experience in and around the Syracuse, NY area. Having worked with multiple scale and measurement solutions companies as well as owning his own company, Jeff prides himself in his real-world application knowledge, selling people what they need – not what they think they want.

    Russ Cordier

    Technical Service Supervisor & Quality Control Manager

    Russ is the Technical Service Supervisor and Quality Control Manager, and has been working in the scale and measurement solutions industry for over 22 years. He oversees all services calls and scheduling, performs all force measurement calibrations, and focuses on maintaining Freeman Scale’s ISO standards.

    Field Service Technician

    Malcolm served in the US Army working with electronics and studied at Bryant and Stratton before he started working at Freeman Scale in 1997. He is highly regarded by customers for his friendliness, professionalism, and personal responsibility in servicing his clients.

    Field Service Technician

    Mike is a field service technician capable of servicing a wide range of scale and measurement equipment, but his patience and diligence makes him especially ideal in solving difficult problems on high capacity scales. Having earned an electronics degree from Bryant and Stratton, he was hired right out of school over 10 years ago and has worked here ever since.

    Office Manager

    Meg has worked at Freeman Scale for nearly 10 years, and has 18 years of professional client service in the theatre industry prior to coming to Freeman Scale. Her organizational skills keep the office running smoothly and efficiently. When a client calls our office, Meg is often the first person they’ll talk to.
